xoxoPrettyNPinkxoxo answered Thursday April 28 2005, 5:06 pm: Hey! Soo...They do make pads that are called thin or ultra thin. (a good brand where you can find these is Always). Also it depends on when a girl feels comfortable in order to where a tampon. Try practicing using one when your not on your period to get used to it.

Buying a lubricant like KY would make them easier to insert, make the process perhaps less painful (though it might not hurt at all, it depends from girl to girl), and help you get used to how to do it. sunkistsarah answered Tuesday April 26 2005, 7:45 pm: I use Carefree and they are in small pink packages and they are thin..i use these near the beginning and end of my period...i use pearl tampex tmapons and when u first use tampons its hard to fingure them out at first and it can hurt...but once they are in the right way then you shouldnt feel them...i would wait a little longer before i use tampons if i were you...maybe try at the beginning of summer...
hope this helps.. [ sunkistsarah's advice column | Ask sunkistsarah A Question ]
shootingstar25xo answered Tuesday April 26 2005, 7:31 pm: There is a brand called Always .. and there are pads that are called like slender or something. You can try those. Also, kotex is a brand that you can't usually see through your shorts. As for tampons, as long as you read the directions carefully and follow them, you should probably be able to learn by your 2nd or 3rd month. just watch the absorbency; ask your mom or consult your doctor about that. hope i helped! just_ask_me answered Tuesday April 26 2005, 7:20 pm: Tampons are reallyy easy to use once your familiar with your body. Use slimmer ones when you start using them, because if you start out with the big ones - it won't be easy and it'll hurt! If you want to use pads right now though, go to the store and look through the pads. Read the back and see how big they look and which ones you think will fit you best. I use the brand Stayfree when I'm not using tampons, and they have all different sizes for all different kinds of girls. Hope it all works out hun xo [ just_ask_me's advice column | Ask just_ask_me A Question ]
