Perhaps they can see that you've got loads of potential and they want you to do your best. Therefore their way of encouraging you is to shout at you. Try to think of it this way the next time they shout at you! [ craazylau's advice column | Ask craazylau A Question ]
o0xbrianna answered Saturday April 23 2005, 8:57 pm: When they yell, take it as an experience to learn. Obviously you are making a mistake if they are yelling, so take it as a learning experience. Don't take it like they are trying to ruin your fun!
sweetigirl answered Saturday April 23 2005, 7:32 pm: im so sorry, my firend has the same thing happent to her. since you cant get rid of the coaches, i guess your gonna have to ignore them, just block the yelling out of your head. think of the game and daydream or something like that.
Foxsea17 answered Saturday April 23 2005, 6:50 pm: Well, if you play for a school team, there is a lot of pressure to win and there is not much emphasis put on the fun of the game. If this really gets you down, you have two options: either use this to motivate you more or join a less competitive team. There are lots of local, neighborhood soccer associations that are not super bent up on winning like many school teams are. I played on one of these as a kid, and when we won, it was great! But our coach was never mean to us! If you want a different atmosphere from what you are experiencing now, I would definitly reccomend looking into local soccer associations. Hope I could help!! Good luck! [ Foxsea17's advice column | Ask Foxsea17 A Question ]
horsesare666es answered Saturday April 23 2005, 6:43 pm: I know this sounds school coulsner ish. But your letting them ruin it. I get more motivated when my Coach flips out on me, I want to be the best possible player. When he yells, I yell back and go back and do exactly what he told me to. believe it or not, they can help you get more agressive and be a better player. you just have to have thick skin. gl! <3 [ horsesare666es's advice column | Ask horsesare666es A Question ]
