i'm 13 and not allowed to wear make up. my mom thinks i'm too young (what's the big deal, though? it's not like i'll turn into a slut or something!). my dad.... anyway! i was wondering if there was something kind of like make up or something or whatever any tiups on how i can look prettier like i would with make up but is not very noticable (except it makes me look a little better). ways to make my lashes longer, little bit rosier cheeks, whatever. but as long it doesn't make me look cheap or anything. if this helps, i'm a brunnette, darkish beige skin, lightish brown eyes, full (but not huge) lips. i'll rate 5's to everyone who helps.

i think that you sound like you are really pretty as you are and i dont think that you need make-up to make you pretty. i know you might think that you do but you should learn to like your natural beauty and like your self for who you are on the inside! it doesnt matter what someone looks like on the outside. if someone thinks that you are ugly then that is there problem and they are probably just saying that to make them self feel supiorior (i dont know how to spell that but you get the drift of it i bet)over you and is just trying to put you down! you shouldnt let anyone put you down because if they do then they are ugly on the inside! no matter how pretty they are on the outside!

Lashes longer- mascara
Eyeliner is optional for bigger eyes, but if you don't do it right or too thickly it looks cheap lol
Rosier cheeks- a light pink blush or a little bit of bronzer.
Lips- Pale pink or clear lipgloss, or a glossy balm like Bath and Body Works sells.
Foundation- I'd reccomend Neutrogena.

I know you're not allowed to wear make up but this is how to acheive the look you want. Ask you mom if you could borrow some mascara, light rose blush and if you dont have it, light pink lip gloss. first, LIGHTLY, apply the rose blush on your cheek bones only. Next apply the masscara, lightly and only on the upper set of lashes. Apply the light pink lip gloss as heavy as you would like!!!

You should stick with your mom with this. I think that it's fair to not be allowed to wear makeup. Are you alowed to use coverup? That's a way to cover your zits if you have any. That can help you look good WITHOUT makeup.

it sounds like you dont need makeup hun. your 13, you look beutiful without anymakeup. trust me. if you reely want to wear makeup and is just insisting on whereing something then you should wear black or clear mascara that will bring out your light brown eyes, if your wearing clear mascara then you may want to wear a little bit of black eyliner, but not to thick, you will have to practice puttin that on. as for your cheeks, leave them the way they are. your lips, wear clear lip gloss...voila! your beutiful and it costs uner 5 dollars! hope i helped

Well theres no big deal. Ask if you can wear eyeliner. Its not bad at all and it makes you look different and better. Use light blush for rosy cheeks and wear lipgloss. You could use eye lash curler and curl your lashes. x0

try using a lit a eyeliner to make them just a little darker. maybe a light pink or purple eyeshadow((unless you like blue or somthin)) .& athin coat of lip gloss ((clear or another light color))

make-up doesnt make you look pretty the whole point of make-up, actually there is no point of make-up. when u put make-up on, your sapost to make it look like your not wairing any at all so there is no reason to put it on in the first place.

To make your cheeks rosier when u want to without make up pinch them... it works and no make-up products are invovled. To make you eyelashes curl use and eyelash curler they work without mascara too ya kno!

At your age, I really don't advocate going against your parents' advice. There are a lot of ways you can look better without wearing makeup. For example, start using a mild acne wash if you have acne, and make sure to wash and moisturize your face twice a day. Get plenty of sleep, drink enough water, and eat right. That alone will make your face look better. Also, try to wear lip balms--some of them have a slight gloss to them, but they also moisturize your lips, keeping them from geting cracked or rough.
If you must wear makeup, I would suggest "grooming" makeup rather than "enhancement" makeup. Clear mascara, for example, will serve two very important purposes--defining your lashes without making them seem darker, and grooming your eyebrows. Just swipe the brows with it to keep them in line.
You might always want to consider a LIGHT eyeshadow in a pale peach or lavender--whatever color your eyelids seem to be. It shouldn't be enough to look like you're wearing makeup, it shouldn't stand out AT ALL. The purpose of the eyeshadow won't be to call attention to your eyes, but rather to cover up some of the veins in your eyelid.
Glossy lip balms are always a plus, and you can often get away with them ont he grounds that they're (usually flavored) lip balms.
If you need coverage for zits or blotchiness, go with concealer, and possibly tinted moisturizer, IF you can get away iwth that much. DO NOT pick foundation. It will be a dead giveaway, and you shouldn't need it at your age anyway.
I really think you shouldn't disobey your parents' wishes at this point, but if you must, focus on correcting blemishes and discrepancies, and maintaining healthy skin, rather than emphasizing and coloring things.
Also, you might want to talk to your mom about some of the methods I mentioned--clear mascara, a peach eyeshadow, a glossy balm, concealer, tinted moisturizer, etc. Ask her if you can take it one step at a time, just one product, with a natural, problem-solving approach. Ask her for compromise, and don't move onto the kind of makeup that older teens wear without her approval. Explain to her why you want to wear makeup, reasons that don't apply, and that you're willing to compromise a little and ease into it. If you can show her that you're responsible, determined, and respectful, you have a better chance of earning her approval.

heyy .. just wear a little mascara and some lipgloss thats all you need you dont need alot of make-up to look pretty the 1st thing a guy notices is the eyes so put mascara on the 2nd thing a guy notices is the lips so put some lipgloss on thats all and make sure your hair looks good too
