mysticpixie05 answered Tuesday April 19 2005, 9:45 am: a body wave is a type of perm. it is just simply lose curls. it isnt straight and it isnt curly. it adds body to your hair, hence the reason it is a body wave. you may be able to get this desired affect with some gel, hairspray, blow dryer, and a diffuser. but it may not work. it varies person by person and the hair type. but like i said, however, you may try it. it is sorta like a scrunched affect look. so if you ave ever scrunched you hair and tried to scrunch your hair, then you will know how your hair will turn out. if you have anymore questions about this, hit me up. drop one in my inbox and ill answer it asap.
