Ok, so I've really liked this guy for 3 years but I've never talked to him. *Everytime I have it's been like my friend (she has known him all her life) talking to him and me just kinda standing there. And that was about 2 years ago* How would you just like start talking to him or what would I say? I know the most obvious answer is to start talking to him when my friend does but they dont talk really anymore. Please help.

When you see him walking down the halls, ask him for the time or something, and then throw a compliment at him, like "i like your shirt" or something.

well hun.. if you really like this guy. just approach him and ask whats up.. and just start a simple question... do that for a couple weeks and then maybe invite him to your place to hang out or something.. wherever you go talk to him make sure he gets the hint that you like him and if he doesnt straight up tell him.. hey gurl go for it dont be shy he could like you too and you dont even kno it!

Maybe your friend that knows him could at least give you some ideas as to what his interests are? That may be the place to start. Then you'll just have to figure out how to bring it up. Good luck. :)
