Im confused, ill rate 5's if you help
Hey I'm 14/f and lately one of my best guy friends has been asking me out, i really care about him but right now i am dealing with other things in my life. such as trying to get into a good highschool, and my other hobbies that are really imortant to me. yet on the other hand, i really like him. my question is what should i do? i mean why should i risk a relationship when we are just going to break up sooner or later? what is the point in a young relationship right now? besides "having fun" because i know that loving someone is a lot more than "having fun" please answer, ill rate fives as long as you try to help

I have the same problem, my best guy friend is like in love with me. I do like him a little but I would never go out with him. If I was you, I wouldn't go out with him because then when you guys do break up, there might be tension between you two. Why ruin something that you already have? All I can really say is follow your heart!

Well, first if you really feel that concentrating on getting into a good highschool is the right thing to be doing, do it. Just tell him that you need time because you are dealing with alot latley and maybe sometime in the future you guys could go out...

Well your right whats the point if your gonna break up sooner or later, but what if you really feel something for him, and he feels something for you, its not just gonna be "having fun" maybe hes the one for you. In life you have to make mistakes to get to where your going. This might be where your going or it might be a mistake. You just have to Jump in.. take a chance.

well you have other stuff in your life but don't just let that hold you back from finding romance and ya it might end fast but you will have all the thing ya'll did together and it will help balance your life out and he might help you learn new things along the road that will help you in the futer so try it and if it dosen't work you can always call it to a stop.

If you like him enough to date him then it should be at least a little important and how are you ever gonna find love if you don't date and have some fun?
