isurfinpink answered Saturday April 16 2005, 2:08 pm: my advice is to get thermal spray and spray it on your hair and then seperate your hair into layers and straighten it, one layer at a time. If you don't have a straightener, curling irons always work too, just slide it slowly through your hair without turning the curling iron like you normally would when you're curling it. Karen answered Tuesday April 12 2005, 6:02 pm: Most regular straighteners will straighten your hair but by the end of the day, your hair will probably wave. To straighten your hair properly, I suggest that you either buy a flat iron, CHI, or a Helen of Troy. These are the only straighteners that will keep your hair straight throughout the day. When you straighten your hair, do it in layers starting from the bottom. I usually do 5 layers all together and that works. You can also apply straightening serum that will protect your hair from the heat from the straightener and that will also keep your hair straight. [ Karen's advice column | Ask Karen A Question ]
oneandonly345 answered Tuesday April 12 2005, 5:27 pm: i would buy a nice straightener. and i dont mean a target one for 15$. the most expencive, most of the time the better. I have a ceramic.. and it is great. also chic, if your wiling to spend a lot. what you do it ..
you blow dry your hair first,
and if you shower at night run the straightener threw your hair once then sleep on it,
and in the morning straighten over it again.
you can also spray some hair spray into your hands, and run that threw your hair. then it should most likly stay. also when you are straightening hold it in the really curly places for a few sec. then pull it down some and hold again also. pull your hair up into sec. first jrun your fingures around the top of your ears, then do were your temples are, then right before your top layer. then all of your hair.
hope i helped. [ oneandonly345's advice column | Ask oneandonly345 A Question ]
Teza answered Tuesday April 12 2005, 4:49 pm: Well dont straighten all of it at once. You usually do it in 3 sections. First put up most of your hair up and just straighten the bottom, then half of the hair you had up and then the top. After that you could put a little bit of gel.. not a lot. Gel works but dont use hairspray. x0 [ Teza's advice column | Ask Teza A Question ]
therocketsummer answered Tuesday April 12 2005, 4:31 pm: First you take a clip and/or hair scrunche and you put most of your hair up in a pony tail. You leave the bottom layer of your hair out of the pony tail. Straighten that until you like it. Once you're done with that layer, take a little more hair out and do this again until all your hair is straight. It should stay straight through out the day! ♥ [ therocketsummer's advice column | Ask therocketsummer A Question ]
