for AIM buddy icons.. i downloaded animation shop and paint shop pro.. but my free trials expired. i`ve tried removing the program but when i download again it says it`s already present on my computer. it`s driving me crazy not being able to make icons. is there any way i can download free trials or different programs? or is there any way to completely erase them from my computer so i can get the free trial again? please help!

My ex best friend had the same problem. She got the download, used it past its potential, and then couldn't use it after the trial ended. She said something about them having your IP adress registered that keeps you from re-downloading it. So, basically, you can erase and erase but it won't let you download. There is an icon maker at www.iconator.com It's far from the quality of PSP but you can semi-personalize your icon. Sorry if I didn't help :'( Hope it works out.

you have to go and actually remove it from the cmputer. if u delete it from your desktop, then your really not getting rid of it. you just think you are. so go to my computer choose C then go to program files, find that and then choose add or remove and then remove it. then it will erase it from the computer and you will be able to go and download it again and re install it to your computer. if you got any more questions about it, let me know.

If you haven't actually removed those two programs, change your computer clock to a month back so it would be March 6th, 2005. That's what I do with my Paint Shop Pro 9 and it works.

You can change the date on your computer or delete the registries that tell the program that you've already had your trial (I don't know which ones though, try searching for sites that tell you how to do that, and be warned that if you delete the wrong registry you can seriously mess up your computer)
You can also try the GIMP (download at [Link](Mouse over link to see full location) for free) and GIF construction set professional (download at [Link](Mouse over link to see full location) for a trial that never expires, although you get an annoying count down that reminds you to register it every time you open it and close it)

Three options. There's also such things as free paint programs. I'd recommend that you try The Gimp ([Link](Mouse over link to see full location)) or, failing that, Dogwaffle. Dogwaffle seems more oriented toward a tablet type drawing system, so you'll probably have more luck with the gimp.

hehe i have animation shop, and paint shop pro too. what i did to get around was change the date on my computer. believe me, it works. change the date to when you had the programs working on your computer.. a lot of times people change it to like a year before they even got it or something like that... dont do that. i think the trials last 60 days so change it too like 2 months ago. but shhh
