My hair is like really thin & shiny, If my hairs all poofy after drying it.
I usually just straighten it for about fifteen minutes until it's all straightened.
& I spray some aussie hairspray in it, Just a little bit though. you don't want
your hair looking madded down to your head.

haha, Hope this helps.

Get some kind of hair serum. It makes your hair shiny and not frizzy. =]

Thats actually good you don't want to sit down and straighten your hair all the time, because if you told your hairstylist you do, they'd flip out. It's actually really bad for your hair. Especially if you're a blonde, it rips it right out. Frys the crap out of it. I kind of have the same thing as you, your hair is fine dry but once you get out of the shower its horrible. I usually blow dry it a little, NOT a lot or it will poof more. Just enough so its damp and then I put straigtening cream in it. Just a little though because a lot will grease up your hair and you don't want that. Also, Sunsilk shampoo and conditioner works really good, the Hydra TLC works to keep down the poof.

Use a conditioner that's anti-poof or smoothing.
There's lots so find one that smells good to you, and is within your budget.

Also consider using a hair serum, or cream [depending on your hair] when your hair is damp to control it. Paul Mitchell Super Skinny is the absolute best, but it's relatively expensive [16-20 dollars a bottle] and John Freida or Garnier is a good alternative.

I know how you feel. My hair use to do the same thing. Everyones hair is different so here are some different things to try...

Blow dry it after a shower
use a mousse (I use Pantene Pro-V)
THrow your hair up in a bun or pony tail

I hope this helps!
