What do I do when I am trying to get over a guy that I am not sure ever loved me but dated another girl across the country while dating me and I try to ignore and try to not show that I still have feelings for him but I know I still do and he has been in all my dreams lately? What does it mean? How could I get him back and keep him from lieing and cheating on me if I did want him? Do my dreams mean anything?

well you need to get a better guy.. obviously this guy cheated on you juts to hurt you, and trust me, once you get over him he will come crawling back

Your dreams probably just mean that you're missing him, and that's perfectly natural!
You can't ignore the fact that you still have feelings for him - sweetie, bottling it up isn't going to help you. The first step to a cure is acceptance of a problem. What will help you is accepting that you still like him and that's OK - it's perfectly fine and normal to still have feelings for a guy, even when he's been a complete jerk! Once you've done that, you can have a good cry about it, or get angry, or anything you want - weep into your pillow or punch it, it doesn't matter, just get all those feelings you've been bottling up inside out!
Trust me, you don't want this guy back. You might think you do because you were happy with him and now you're sad, but just remember - you could never get that happiness with him back again because you won't trust him, and trust is an essential element in any relationship. That happiness is, however, something you could find with someone else. For now, let out all those feelings, maybe chat to a friend or a diary (www.opendiary.com hosts online ones). After that...just try and forget him and move on. Do some stuff like going shopping to get him off your mind but remember that it's OK to be sad when you think of him again.

If this other girl was across the country he couln't have "dated" her much right. She is probably just a friend. He can be friends with other girls.So, technically that isn't cheating.

Look, you deserve better and you do not need to waste your time on a guy that cheats on you. Once he has cheated on you, that means he is CAPABLE of doing it again. If he really did love you he wouldn't have tried to hurt you. Your dreams mean nothing, dreams happen all the time. I once drempt myself on a rock that was falling to the bottomless pit. lol, that didn't mean anything and I'm not dead yet =P So get out there and find a real man!

you still love him and miss him. or at least like him. and dreams, dreams are at complete random based around your mental thoughts. so that means you've been thinkin about him, a lot. and the thing is, if he would rather go out wit a girl across the country instead of you, i dont think it would be worth it to rebuild that relationship. hope i helped

Your dreams only mean he is on your mind. You are confused because you still have feelings for him and you are not sure they are returned. But I doubt your dreams mean anything more than that. As for how to get him back and stop him from cheating, I would first suggest you ask yourself why you would want him back. You are 13. There will be any number of boys/men in your life over the following years. Why waste worry time and heartache over someone that does not respect you enough to be honest with you? Concentrate on yourself. Have fun with your friends or family. Enjoy the sunshine or whatever hobbies you like to involve yourself with. When someone comes along that deserves you, then this guy that has mistreated you already will simply disappear from your thoughts. You will realise that he was never worth the trouble of thinking about him. Good luck and write again anytime.
