you should be able to run at most a week after you get your belly button done.. it really doesn't hurt.. and for the taking it out 6 to 8 months.. and they advise you not to leave it out for over 24 hours until you've have it for a year.. I hope i helped

It might hurt for a couple of days when you get it done like when you sit down or do anything that could make the piercing move a bit. If there's anyway you can put practice off for a couple of days till the pain goes away then you should be fine or if you think you can stand the pain of sprinting you could just go to practice anyway because it won't affect it. Just make sure you don't get hit with anything on it.

Here's a thought: get it done after the season. ]
I have a belly button ring, I just got it 3 months ago, and I think that maybe you'll have to wait a few days before you can start running again. the first couple of days will be a little painful, but that shouldn't be a really big problem. andd the guy that pierced my belly button said that you shouldnt take your belly button ring out until it's completely healed. if you take it out before it's healed, the hole will close in 2 minutes or less ]
Stomach and legs are two different things. ]
It has been my past experience with ear piercings alone that it is a bad idea to get an earing while the season is still going on... i would wait till after the season was over to ensure a pain free season... plus... if the regulations are the same, i don't think you're aloud to have any jewelry of any kind in place while playing in a real match. ]
