Teza answered Monday March 21 2005, 10:29 am: When you get out of the shower blow dry your hair so its not so curly. My hair is curly too so the easiest way for me to do it is putting it in sections. I usually put it in 3 sections. Do the bottom then the middle and then top. Its easier and it straightens better. x0 [ Teza's advice column | Ask Teza A Question ]

XSoul0ficeX answered Monday March 21 2005, 9:42 am: The quickest is straightening in sections. The best way, however, is to get a Japanese straight. It makes your hair stay straight for about a year, I think. And your hair will be pin straight. It looks great (My friend had it done) [ XSoul0ficeX's advice column | Ask XSoul0ficeX A Question ]
hailebop answered Monday March 21 2005, 7:40 am: You'll get the best and fastest results by doing your hair in sections systematically. Put most of it up, leaving only the bottom layers down. I'm assuming you have hair straigteners (these are much easier than blow-drying your hair every day!) but if you are blow-drying with a hair dryer and a round brush directed down the shaft of the hair then the principle is the same - start on the bottom layers of your hair, straigten sections of about an inch wide all round your head, then let down some more hair and straigten that. Repeat until you've done your whole head. You should spend the most time on the last layers that you do, as these will be the most noticeable. It's very tempting to try and straigten really big sections at the same time as a time saver, but this actually just means you have to go over the area more times, which is (a) bad for the hair and (b) actually ends up taking longer. mrs_radcliffe answered Monday March 21 2005, 6:39 am: I do this on my friends hair tie half of it up and put sections down and straighten then and it do the rest. Keep it in smaller sections make sure that you dont use big chunks because it wont do it as well.
