My boyfriend and I have been going out for about 2 and a half years now. We're both in college, and we're about half way across the country from each other, so I only get to see him a few times through out the school year. I'm going home in about a month to see him, and I want to do something special for him, but I'm not sure what. Any ideas? I was thinking about spending the weekend in a hotel, but that can get kind of pricy. Our parents won't let us sleep at each other's houses either, so in order to spend the weekend with him I'll probably have to get a hotel. Does anyone have any other suggestions as to what I could do? Or what else I could do in addition to the hotel? Just to show him how much I care about him? Thanks a bunch

I am pretty sure that it won't matter what you do as long as he gets to see you!
You could (depending on the weather and whereabouts you live) go camping and have a midnight picnic and sit and talk and stargaze etc etc.
This would give you privacy (depending on where you camp)
Get him to build you a fire (men like poking fire s with a stick - makes them feel all manly!) and just be close.

I would see if you could stay in one of your friend's houses for a night or something and have them leave one night so ya'll can do stuff. of course, the best thing would be a hotel. but, yeah, i would see if there is a friend you can stay with..

See if he has any female friends at the college and make arrangments to bunk at their dorm for the weekend
Also you could just plan a lot of fun things to do on the weekend and spend a lot of time together
