ok i started baby sitting lately and the lil boy i baby sit ian asks me really odd questions for a 5 year old like whered do babies comefrom (i know thats not weird but i dont know what to say) or my peewee hurts why?? i dont know what to say exsept what did mommy tell you lol lol and he goes will you help me and i go help with what poopoo....... ewwwww yes i know its part of the job but does any one know any ways to by pass trobles

Oh the curious little minds...well, you did good. Tell him you don't know go ask mommy.They usually don't mean the question the way it sounds though. You could give him a long answer and right in the middle of it he will ask you another dumb question totally off the subject!
Keep all answers real simple. If he says his peepee hurts, say well, what did you do to it? He will probably say I don't know and drop it.
5 y.o. brains are curious about everything but they jump from one thing to another so fast they forget what they asked you 5 minutes ago...just give simple answers and he'll be happy!

i do babysit and if he asks you about babies just tell him the stork and a lot of 5 year olds do need help in the bathroom. Its sooo nasty.
5 year olds ask a lot of odd things you could always just say you know ian i dont know the answer to your question but im sure your mom does .. wait until she gets home. or keep him occupied so he doesnt have time for questions

Its cute when little kids like that ask questions. Sometimes you just have to ignore them but i would answer then best you can. and with the poop... lol well you just gatta clean it. or try and teach him with pody training if he doesnt know how yet. but if he asks you to help him, do... it will go alot faster, and you'd have to do it anyway if you ever have kids so better practice no lol. but yea i go through the same thing ... haha and yes gross at some point. lol

That's a difficult age to babysit because they ARE going to ask you LOTS of difficult questions. Just remember that a five year old really just wants the very basic answers. If he asks you where do babies come from, I would give him a very short, basic answer such as, "from the mommy's tummy." If he is telling you that his peewee hurts, ask him if he has told that to his mommy. He may just be acting out there, trying to test you. If he starts running, jumping around, playing, etc., you can be fairly sure that he's not hurting anywhere. You sound like a very responsible babysitter to be concerned about this boy. He's lucky to have you in his life.
