Question Posted Monday March 7 2005, 7:19 pm

I have a friend at school, his name is Tyler. He isn't your popular jock. No girls like him. Just recently iv learned he likes me and would want to go out with me. We are very good friends.
And if I went out with him and we break up, I'm afraid it would ruin our friend ship. What should I do? Help!!!!!!!!!!

Please reply ASAP

tell him that you see him more as a friend than a boyfriend type. Tell him that you dont wanto ruin your friendship.he'll understand.

My daughter had this problem recently. She had known this guy all her life and they decided to give it a try.Right up front though they discussed what would happen if it didn't work out. It didn't and they are still friends.Hope that gives you encouragement!

in my opinion i say go out with him.. i mean since you already know he wants to ask you out.. things would probably be weird if u said no.. trust me i know ive done the same thing.. just go for it and see what happens

Ask yourself "Do you WANT to go out with him?". Stop worrying about what would happen if you did and it didn't work out. Do what YOU really want to do and go with the flow.

Why the fuck is this in the "sex" area? Are you not aware there is a "love life" section?

def. talk to him about it first, tell him your concerns. it should work, i mean if he is your friend. :) You two will more than likely feel the same way about the situation!!!

If you think that it will ruin your relationship with him if you two go out...then don't do it. And be sure to explain to him why you made your decision just so that there is no miscommunication.

I think that you should tell him how you feel, and tell him no matter what happens through-out your relationship, you would want to be his friend in the end.
