i'm not overly fat or anything but i want to lose some weight to feel healthier and i dont know what i could eat thats healthy and filling...what are some ways i could lose some weight (a school dance is coming up so i'm trying to lose some pounds as fast as i can!)quickly and in a healthy way (like no starvation diet). UnluckyWishes answered Sunday March 6 2005, 11:00 am: Try watching your amount of fat in take.On the back of packages it says how many grams of fat there are per serving.Or instead of having three big meals a day have four or five meals that are a little smaller.It lets your body break down the food you eat better.In the morning or right before you go to sleep do some streches and around 20-30 sit ups or crunches.The easy little stuff seems to add up.Hope i helped and good luck with that.Have fun at your dance. To lose weight faster, you can increase your metabolism by eating differently each day; for example, tomorrow you can eat 5 small meals and the next day, you can eat 3 big meals. This will make your body confused and you will lose weight. Try not to eat inbetween meals but if you do get a craving to eat something when you shouldn't, just drink a lot of water so you will be filled up or snap a rubber band and it will help. Exercise after you are done eating; you can run or jog on a treadmill.

TeenageCupid answered Sunday March 6 2005, 7:53 am: First of all, to lose weight, you shouldnt deprive yourself from food. Its good that you know that already. Anyway, im on a diet myself and people already noticed im losing a lot of weight! My guy friend even said I look hotter now.
Just eliminate sweets and junk food from your diet and you'll drop pounds in no time! Replace "coke" with "diet coke". Replace chips with veggies or fruits.
Heres what I eat every day:
Breakfast : Cherios with non fat milk
OR
non fat yoghurt + juice (strawberry, pineapple and apple are the best)
OR
a piece of toast+ cottage cheeze or any low fat cheeze + juice
School: at school, eat vegetables or fruits, dont eat fatty stuff.If you feel you need sugar, drink some juice or flavoured milk (strawberry milk, not chocolate!)
Lunch: I suggest chicken cesar salad, very light.
OR
Tuna pasta salad
OR
one grilled chicken breast + a piece of toast or 4 tablespoons of rice or 4 forks of pasta.
Dinner: I usually skip dinner, but if I'm really hungry I eat some low fat cheeze, a piece of toast . OR I eat these crunchy bread sticks.
This diet is perfect for me personally, and dont forget, exercise at least 3 times a week specially if you messed something up in the diet.
Best exercises :walking, jogging, swimming,tennis, dancing and aerobics.
And if you're going to a fast food restaurant, always order chicken cause 1 hamburger = 500 calories. On the other hand , one grilled chicken burger = 200 calories! And of course, NO FRENCH FRIES!
You are allowed to have one "all you can eat" day, thats the end of the week. But it doesnt mean you can eat the whole supermarket! lol.
