i saw a girl post how she has hair on her upper lip and she dosent know what to do and so someone said shave it off... i was just wondering... my grandma told me that if you do that it will leave hair like when guys shave not hair but like little bits.. ok that doesnt make sense but if anyone knows what i am talking about-is it ok to shave ur upper lip (im a girl) thanx

NOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You do NOT want to shave your upper lip. It will (just like your legs and everything else) come in fuller, and darker. You do not want that, eventually it will look just like a mans moustache. I do know that some people wax, and that some people pluck hairs, but I advise against it. I don't know how bad it would be to wax your upper lip, but DO NOT shave it!!!!!!!!!!!

i wouldnt if i were you. you know how you your hair on your armpits and legs look, well that's the way it'll look on your lip. it's going to grow back thicker and faster! so dont shave it. get it waxed. or if you have enough time, pluck it out with eyebrow tweasers. but whatever you do, dont shave it!

Yes there will be some hair left over. Woman's faces weren't meant to be shaved. It makes their face feel like a man's. I hope this clears things up.

Yes, your hair will be like a man's moustache and there will be hair left too and your upper lip hair will be thick and dark once you shave for a long time. Your grandma is right and this does make sense. DO NOT shave your upper lip hair because it's not okay too. For some people, their upper lip hair won't grow back dark and thick but for others, it will. I used to have noticable upper lip hair too and I use Nair Upper Lip Hair remover.
