Razor Burn

Question Posted Saturday February 26 2005, 4:26 pm

I just started shaving down there and I get this little red razor burn bumps. It also hurts and sometimes bleeds when I shave. How do I prevent this and get rid of the bumps I already have?

Instead of shaving against the hair, shave with it. So in other words, don't shave up, shave down. Use a new razor and sensitive skin shaving cream. Besta Luck

Well you can go to the store and look for something that helps prevent that type of thing. If it doesn't work ask an adult /women/ that you trust.

Use Cortisone, and don't shave again until the bumps are completely gone. Put the Cortisone on it everytime you shave. (It may be spelled Cortizone, I'm not sure. It's a lotion and it's in a tube.)

Use a fresh razor and shaving cream. Shave in the direction your hair grows, and don't rush or press down to hard. Use lotion when you finish. ♥ Kristen

try Bumpstop. Use plenty of foam when you shave and make sure raor is sharp. Alternatively use an electric one for a less close shave.

Try getting a really good razor. Use water and soap/shaving cream. Shave upwards in the way your hair grows. When your done shaving, put some cream/lotion on; it'll help with the bumps and redness, that you might have.

If you don't want to get razor burn again, use a good razor, water, and shaving cream and shave upwards, towards your head or in the direction your hair grows, really slow. It's normal to have bumps but once you get used to shaving your pubic hair, they won't come back. When you are done shaving, put lotion on. It really does help and the bumps will go away faster.
