I have this guy friend that i used to like. He's nice and all and we talk on email a lot. Then he said that my best friend (basically my "sister") and her (really cool) guy cousin sucked at hockey, were wimps, adn were on steriods because they talk funny. I was about to cuss him out but then i maintained control because they are two of my best friends. I really got pissed when he said that her guy cousin was on steriods. REALLY pissed. What should i do to this kid to teach him a lesson?

If he's a friend (at all!) then he'll feel bad that he hurt your feelings by dissing your family and "sister". (that's what I call my best friend too! lol) But, it's not enough to tell him that you're friends with that girl and her cousin, but you've got to tell him that it offended you! Tell him gently, just be like, "Hey, that was my best friend you were talking about. She's not that way. She's really nice... it sortof hurt my feelings when you said that, but I forgive you." He'll feel bad enough that he's hurt your feelings that it wouldn't be right to "get back at him". (plus the Bible says "'Vengeance is mine", says the Lord'")

Just say you didnt appreciate that at all and if he says anything more like it you will not talk to him anymore.
Just be mature about it. Being immature just makes things worse.
MiZzAdViCe16 answered Friday February 25 2005, 2:15 pm: just simply tell him that those two people are your friends and not to talk bad about them because it really hurts you and if he doesnt like them that he doesnt have to talk bad about them and that he was low for doing that
ImHere4u answered Friday February 25 2005, 1:21 pm: befor you plot any revenge, just try letting him know what he said was really rude and you didn't appreciate it because u and her ARE your best friends. He might not have meant to say it directly toawrds you and just thought it was something funny to say at the moment. Everyones said something about people before without realizinq what a jerk they were. Just let him know first. I bet he`ll appologize
