DrummeR4LifE answered Thursday February 24 2005, 8:52 pm: Jogging, Riding your bike really helps. Um... The stepper or maybe even some sports like volleyball tennis basketball. But even stomach excersizes would help. [ DrummeR4LifE's advice column | Ask DrummeR4LifE A Question ]

Karen answered Thursday February 24 2005, 8:45 pm: If you get rid of the fat on your sides, you jeans are just going to be looser on you. If you said that your jeans are loose in the back, near your butt, to squats or lunges to tone your butt so your jeans won't be loose on you.

For the hip area, there are exercises you can do to tone your outer thighs. If you go to the gym, there's this machine (I'm sure you know which) where your legs start off together, and you attach weights and open your legs and close them again for 1 rep. There's also another exercise where you lay on your side on the floor with knees bent and get a moderate dumbell and hold it while it rests on your outer thighs. Lift legs with knees still bent, and return to starting position. Repeat and do the same for the other leg.
