How will I know?
There's this boy I like and we've been through a lot together and he's acted SO much like he likes me but now he's telling me that he only likes me as a friend. He even said he thinks of me as a sister and his best friend. But he acts so much like he likes me but then, people constantly tell him that he needs/should go out with me/ask me out/etc. He cares about what people think and he's tired of everyone pressuring him to go out with me and it contradicts how he acts around me. We talk a lot and he initiates it a lot and we flirt at times(not nearly as much as before, we used to flirt 24/7) but sometimes he's also kind of mean to me. And when I confront him about being mean to me, he's always really sorry and feels bad about it genuinely. But I'm tired of all these mixed messages and signals and the changes in behavior. I just don't know what to do. If anyone could give me some advice about my situation, I'd be really thankful and also, if anyone could tell me any and all signs that a guy likes you, I'd be doubly thankful. Thanks so much.

it sounds like he is shy... i can't tell if he likes you or not... i think that when your friends told him to ask you out it made him annoyed and thats what made him stop liking you.. you should tell your friends to stop... you should just sit him down and confess everything you've ever felt for him... maybe if he see's how outgoing you are he will start to open up to you more... if a guy likes you he will usually flirt.. or he will be shy around you and try not to act stupid... sorry i can't really help you with that part

Mixed signals, but it sounds, just from that short description, that he likes you but is nervous and tired of other people telling him what to do. So drop hints... or just ask him out, if you are a little daring. Good luck.

I think that he likes you. You can ask him out first. Tell him how you feel. Although he feels as though you are his sister, you should tell him how you feel. Good luck
