A girl at work showed me her calf, and the skin was coming off in scaly chunks. She just said "eew, isn't this gross?" and I said "Actually, that's skin cancer in about ten years."
Keep bed-tanning to a minimum. The sex you get now won't make up for thousands of dollars in corrective surgery and oil-of-olay age-defying creams and washes and lip reconstruction and facelifts when you're 40 and still bleaching your hair. [ koshii's advice column | Ask koshii A Question ]

You can get like cheapo stuff at the drug store like by Hawaiian Tropics for like anywhere from 3 - 9 dollars. Just look near the suntan lotions and make sure it says INDOOR TANNING LOTION. Also, when I went to the salon I purchased like Bronze Babe lotion and it was like 16 dollars which wasn't that bad. Also, your salon should give you a free sample for your first time so you don't have to worry about the lotion for the first time.

LiSaxOBaBii answered Monday February 21 2005, 8:20 pm: tanning could burn your insides if it's done too often and it's not healthy at all. also, using those lotions clogs your pores....why do you want to change you skin color...i'm really white and it doesn't bother me...you don't need to be tan to be beautiful [ LiSaxOBaBii's advice column | Ask LiSaxOBaBii A Question ]

sunkistsarah answered Monday February 21 2005, 4:59 pm: If you are haveing problems with the price of them then you dont have to buy one there, you can go to target or watmart and buy one.
If you are haveing a problem picking one, then just try some different ones (i know at the tanning salon i used to go to they had samples of the different lotions for like 2 dollars)
hope this helps! [ sunkistsarah's advice column | Ask sunkistsarah A Question ]
shake answered Monday February 21 2005, 4:48 pm: I say anything that will burn your skin. Heck just go sit out in the sun for a while thats free. You can get cancer both ways so why bother paying to get cancer? [ shake's advice column | Ask shake A Question ]
Sparky answered Monday February 21 2005, 3:00 pm: California Tan is a good lotion but the key is to find a lotion that you like. They are lotions that are bronzers, tinglers and accelorators. I know at my tanning place we sell samples of lotions and we change what we sample so that way people can find one they like. I would recomend trying the samples and seeing which ones you like. Stay away from the tingelers for a while untill you get comfortable with tanning. Try an accelorator and see how that goes. Also read the lables on the bottles because there are some things in the lotions that some people don't react very well with. One other thing is that pretty much all lotions have a smell to them and that is something else ypu want to take into consideration. I could go on for days about this but if u want to ask more questions and get more into detail leave a message for me with your email and i will be more than willing to get into detail and help u pick the right one.
