Hi. I have been a columnist for a little while. I have been rated 24 times and until 3 days ago my ratings were shown on my column. My rating has changed a little since I have been a columnist for over a month, with the oldest ones not being counted anymore. I know all of that. My question is, why would my rating disappear completely? I cannot see my ratings on my column but if I click View Feedback I can see all of my ratings. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you very much and have a wonderful day!

The average rating on your column only shows up when you have been rated 5 times in the last 30 days. In your case, you've only been rated 4 times in the last 30 days. MFS answered Friday February 18 2005, 1:03 pm: The ratings are a running average - thus, as you already stated, after a time, older ratings no longer count towards your current rating. The numerical ratings you've received only show up when you view a question directly, or when you click on the View Feedback form looking at your column.
Could it be that the layout your using for your column doesn't display the rating?
Also, I've suggested several times that we completely hide everyone's current rating - for some, ratings just became a big game and hiding the number was a way to discourage that.

And here's another link that will show you your rating and how you were rated... [Link](Mouse over link to see full location)
Since neither of those links will probably have the answer, I'm sure either MFS, or advicenator_admin or any other level three mod will be of some help. Most likely advicenator_admin since she is the one who created this site. Sorry I'm not much help [ S_C's advice column | Ask S_C A Question ]
