V-day troubles!
13-M----OK my problem is that im not gonna have
n e 1 for valentines day! this may not seem so big to everyone else but my new years resolution was to get a real g/f by then. Im not extremly unpopular, its just everyone thinks im wierd. so someone halp me find a resolution for this!

Valentine's Day has been officially BANNED in my house. It is a holiday supposedly "for love" but mostly hurts those that are alone. So just ignore the day. Rename it Narf Day or something. If you are proud of your "wierdness" (when you get older, you become interesting) wear a black rose pinned to your lapel. Make fun of the day and all the people that have been sucked into it. and remember, if you care for someone (or they care for you) you don't need a "special day" to give them something. Buying a girl flowers or giving her a card just because it Tuesday is better because it truly isn't prompted by anything but your feelings.

Why does it matter if she is popular if you like someone go for it! she may like you.And if she turns you down at least you tried and you dont have guilt for not!!

valentines day is a stupid holiday. dont bother about getting into a realtionship your only 13..why settle down now when you have ur whole life. and why start to really like a girl when its all just going to end anyways and get your heart broken. dont worrie about it~

Ok, usually people who have a resolution dont do it lol. It might be a while till you get a girlfriend and thats ok. YOur only 13 you have a while to get a gf. Find a girl who has the same qualities you have and get to know her. Usually guys/gurls just get a bf/or gf without getting to know them. My opinion is that you should like just talk to someone who's "weird" like you lol and maybe it'll work out. Personally i think that 13 is too young to have a relationship but you can have a gf if u want. Good luck

Nothing will change or happen unless you do this yourself. No one can do it for you, you need to do it yourself. If you wanted this so bad, you'd be willing to do anything for it. (Even if it means pushing yourself to do it.)
The thing about Valentines Day is that you either hate it, or you love it. Since you don't have a girlfriend, you'll probably feel left out and depressed. But millions of people feel the exact same way.
You can't rush a relationship, it's a long-term thing. You need to take things one step at a time and see where you end up. How do you think that you'd ever get a girlfriend before Valentines Day if you haven't forced yourself to start talking to girls.
Talking is the key issue. If you don't talk to girls, how would you be able to communicate well when you're going out? Don't assume people think you're weird. Being yourself is the only way someone can really get to know you. Much easier said than done. But you can do this. If you don't know who you are yet, find out. Get new hobbies. Also, raising your hand in class helps a lot.
You're still just thirteen. You have your whole life ahead of you. Don't rush things along. Enjoy being single and flirting with the girls. See where it goes from there.

Im 13 also and Im going through the same thing..you just gotta gain confidence and grow up. Then find a girl u like and ask her out. if she says no big deal just try another.

If it's your resolution: you still have 10 months! I woudlnt' stress about it. When you find someone (single) that you really like, ask them when you want to. Not just because it's Valentines day.
Hm, too much of a wuss? I'm sorry. Start off being friends, then it might be easier to talk to her. It's not very cool when you get asked out by someone for someone else.

umm...you need to build up some confidence and learn to do it yourself your 13 and you totally need to grow up...just find a girl you really like and ask her out. if she doesnt like you try another girl..you'll find the one thats right for you. how are you wierd. like how so? do you really care what people think. you shouldn't just be you. and eventually you'll find a girlfriend that really likes you for *you*..
