I'm really upset. I just recently tried out for Grease. And I don't think I got in. And I think the only reason why is because the director couldn't read my e-mail address. I think I did good because the man I sang to for my audition said I did excellent. I am wondering should I e-mail the director? She didn't send out all the cast things yet but it's just not fair that she is sending out roles on different days. What should I do?

Wouldn't they call you if they coulden't read your email? or was your email the only contact. I think if you did get in you'll be notified somehow

yeah e-mail and be like sorry i emailed you but i was scared you couldn't read my email so i disided to email you just to make sure if i made it that i wouldn't make it just because u couldn't read my email address

You should definetly talk to the director and ask her why you didn't make the play. Use her cristisicm to make yourself better, and come back next year and audition, and you'll probaly get a good part. But don't let this get you down. Every talented person has gotten rejected once or twice, but you just have to make the best out of it. Good Luck.

Well, you can't be so hard on yourself. If you know you can do it, then keep believing in yourself because if you think you can do it then you can. Don't let anyone get in your way of your dream. You shouldn't be that upset. In that kind of business, you have to accept the rejections because this is just the first time it has happened, and I guarentee you it won't be the last. I wanted to be a model for a while, I found agents and I went to different places and no one would take me. I gave up and I wish I didn't. You have alot of very tough competition out there and you need to stay strong. Keep doing your thing sweetie, hang in there, you'll get it. Do NOT let <i>anything</i> get in the way of your dreams. I think that you should just wait for all of the parts to be cast. If you didn't get in, don't give up, keep on trying. You'll get it eventually.
