azngemini answered Monday January 31 2005, 9:56 pm: ohh this is awesome, i have a belly button ring too, i just got it like last month. i think mine is infected too. the best way to disinfect it is to go get it chcked out by your doctor or piercer. saline solution really works. just pour 50 mL of saline solution into a small glass cup(i used a shot glass, lol) n bend your body forward, cup the glass over your belly button, lay down, n leave it there for like 10 to 15 minutes. thats the same as cleaning with bacteria soap, but I think it's easier. it's a better way too [ azngemini's advice column | Ask azngemini A Question ]
Karen answered Monday January 31 2005, 9:34 pm: Clean your belly button ring with antibacterial soap or liquid. If it gets really bad, take it out but for now, try not to touch the ring. Hope I helped :)
