failing..
Im doing so bad in school! I have an F, a D, and the rest are all C's and B's..my mom keeps saying if i dont bring my grades up (she said this when i got my last report card which wasnt as bad as this one) that she will not let me do anythingg besides my school work and after school activities! Ugh..i cannot imagine what i am going to say to my mom that im FAILING? Has anyone ever done/said anything that works? Also how do i stop procrastinating and STUDY&do homework??

Here are some ideas:
As soon as you get home do your homework so then you wont have to worry about it.. also take the oppurtunity of school study halls to STUDY and do your homework there, because then you can work with frends
Get a school tutor, our school has a tutoring program and you can sign up for it and it is during school time, so it doesnt take time away from out of school which is good
set goals for your self, something like: You cant watch tv until you study for 35 minutes or something like that, that will inspire you lol
Also, dont sign on your AIM, because that can be soo distracting, instead if you must put on an away and dont check it until your done
Finally, when you get calls, even if you really want to talk to the person just say: Hey sry i cant talk right now Ill call you when Im done with my homework..
ok and also for studying make flash cards they really work!!

To stop procrastinating: get some self control and some discipline. No one can tell you any magic tricks to get your ass in gear - that can only come from you and you finding a way to keep yourself motivated. Clearly, fear of failing isn't motivating you. Perhaps fear of having no social life will motivate you more successfully.
I highly doubt that you'll be able to con your mom... I'm sorry, I mean convince your mother into allowing you to carry on as if nothing has happened.
You realize that you're failing, yet it appears that you are doing absolutely nothing about it. That would make it entirely your own fault. You have to find a way to focus on your grades and to get things back on track - set schedules for yourself. Submit yourself to disciplined studying practices. Perhaps look into getting a tutor. But no matter what, it has to come from you. No one but you can fix your situation.

When your mom finds out your failing..tell her "im ready to change and make it better..trust me you'll see improvements." Next step..is to get on top of your school work and bring up your grades. If you have a study hall..do as much reading/studying/hw as you can. When you get home from school do all your work. Dont go on the comp or watch tv. Just get everything done..and hopefully when 9pm rolls around you'll be done so you can watch tv or go on the computer. Your mom will see your effort and appreciate it..so hopefully on weekends she'll let you out.

Just think about it, when you come home...eat..do whatever...do all your homework..you'll have a lot of time to do whatever you want! And if you wait till the last minute you'll fail..so just do it, get it over with, and have fun watching tv..being online..the rest of the time:)
