Wisdom Teeth

Question Posted Tuesday January 25 2005, 3:17 pm

I was wondering, where do your wisdom teeth come from? Are they on both top and bottom, or only on the top.. or the bottom?

Well they come in very far back in your mouth, they can be very painful... sometimes people have to get them removed, but that depends on whether or not they have room in their mouth for them. The come in on both the top and bottom.

Your wisdom teeth are just a set of molars that come in usually during your late teens or early twenties. They don't necessarily come from anywhere it'st just happens that everyone's grow in during this time in their life. They come in behind the rest of your molars in the back of your mouth. Most people get them removed before they begin to shift your teeth and cause problems in your mouth. You will have 4 widsom teeth: upper left, upper right, lower left, and lower right! The surgical procedure is quick and harmless usually with minimal pain! Just some swelling and lots of icecream and soft foods for a couple of days!! : )

Your wisdom teeth are on the top and bottom of your mouth. They are just like your regular teeth except you get them pulled out when they grow. I'm not sure where they come from; they are just your teeth. Hope I helped :)
