If you are a girl, a job with Avon or Mary Kay is worth looking into. You can sell makeup and skin care and other products women love just during your everyday life to the people you meet.

If you're a guy or even if you're a girl and Avon doesn't appeal, try a public service place like a library. They often offer jobs with not many hours for someone who shelves books, etc. Also try places like town halls and things.

Another idea would be to start your own business. Babysitting, lawn mowing/landscaping, dog walking, shovelling snow, small appliance repair, cleaning/organizing, crafts, and house-sitting are all good ways to control your own hours and wages if you have skills in any of these areas.

If that doesn't work, try a lot of smaller, specialty type stores. They often can be more flexible. Retail at a mall is sometimes a good idea too.

There is always an employer who is willing to help you work around school and other responsibilities. Finding them may be hard, but be persistent.

Hope this helps!

WalMart is cool and all, but you want to do something fun that gives u awesome benefits. Like if you love music, get a got at Bets Buy, Newbery Comics, Strawberries, Virgin Megastore or summin like that. When u work there you can get discounts on music and stuff. Its an idea, but look for what you would want.

You could try, Wal-Mart, Zellers or Save-Easy. They don't give long hours, it's mostly after school till around 10 or 11ish. You could also look for a job that gives tips. Then you'd be making a lot of money. My friend works at Tim Hortons and she made 6,000 just in tips, over a year.
