Seriously, I remember them all too well. You have been given some excellent ideas, and the question/answer card is usually one of the best. I remember just writing the answers on the back of the cards helped me understand it and remember it more easily. Did I do better? You betcha! 100% work? No, but I didn't fail. (It did help a lot for memorizing lines for a play though.) Also, pace yourself. Don't cram, and DO NOT pull an all-nighter. I've done that before too and it doesn't work well. Too much info, not enough sleep equal blurry eyes and overload. Try 45 minutes of study, then 10-15 minutes of getting up and walking and stretching. I used to do this when I worked 8-10 hours a day in front of a word processor for a legal firm (my doctor told me to do it for stress relief AND release). Good luck! You'll make it! Okay the best way that I found for studying for it that may be high yield but kinda time consuming is to write little question and answers from your books and notes.
For example you read something and then instead of writing just the fact down that may be important to know, you write a question for it and then on the back of a index card write the answer for it.
That way, you're studying for the exam and learning the high yield facts that you deem important to know. I know that all my friends and I used this method to study for our USMLE Step I.

I guess the most 'interesting' way would be to change how you do your revision - an hour online, an hour re-writing up notes (that helps things to stick in your mind), an hour doing your favourite subject, that kind of thing. You could also write loads of little revision tips or things that you tend to forget (such as a certain equation in physics or a word in french, whatever) on post it notes and go round sticking them in places you'll see them :)
As for getting started...go through your notes and see what you don't understand. Write it out and then go through all that stuff...or start with the subject/topic which is first alphabetically?
Good luck on the exams!
Blessed Be,
