Question Posted Sunday January 23 2005, 1:43 am

I tend to overeat when I snack...I make it into more of a meal than a snack. What are some nutritious, low-cal items that fill you up?

ok i had this same problem... i just learned that when you eat a snack, it takes 20 minutes to realize your full, so eat an apple before you eat. then it only takes about 5-10 minutes to realize it. it really works. and for some low-cal foods, eat something like fruits, a bowl of cereal, or do something to get your mind off of eating.
hope i helped,
-kathryn-

ok i used to be the same way and i still kinda do that. if you are eworrying about your weight than try making a salad, a fruit salad or something that will calm your stomach. normally those kind of snacks can fill you up. i hope this helps.

from wat i hear from friends, nutri grain bars fill you up. ive never reely tried them before though. You could also try crackers that have low sodium. Those taste good and are pretty healthy.
