My best friend is really starting to wear really nice clothes and wear expensive makeup and straighten her hair with expensive straighteners and when im around her i feel really imature

(first compliment her; so she feels her work is nicely done) If she totally gets mad at you for being upset, tell her you feel like your friend is drifting away from you. If she still gets pissed.. then shes not really a good friend. If she understands what you mean.. then tell her " okay, I was just afraid of losing my best friend." Believe me on that one!
