I seem to be expieriencing<-- (sry cant spell) all of those symptoms below except for about 3 or 4. What can I do about this?? Also is this normal for a 13 year old to be like this?? I want to tell my parents but I dont know what to say..going to the doctor and everything scares me and I dont really like it when anybody stares at me. Please help?? :o(

Sounds like the way I feel. Is it a big deal? Well, do you feel like it is? If you think it is something that you can get through, than try a trick my friend told me about: Write a list with all of your Pros and Cons, then, rip off the Cons side, tear it to peices, and post the Pros side on your wall, ceiling, or locker.

If you feel like it is a big deal, then you really should do something to get help. I have been in therapy for a while and it does help. Try telling a sibling, or the parent you feel the most comfortable with, and they can help you tell the others.

its okay! you will be allright! all you have to do is talk about your feelings, try to be happy and do not kill yourself!!!!!you might want to see a doctor to see if you have depression. maybe you will be put on medicene to make you a little happier! Really do tell you parents THEY WILL HELP YOU!!! they love you and can make you feel better! all i would do for now is:
1. try to be happy
2. eat heathy not to much but not to little
3. DO NOT KILL YOURSELF!!!
4. do not hurt people like hitting or phisical aggresion
5. you might want to go see a therepist, a trusted adult or school counciler.
6. if you are sad talk it out, or go to a best friend or mom or dad!

remember all will be okay you will have down days and up days you will learn to cope with your life!

live you life well and I hope you have more happy days then sad ones

OK NOT NORMAL! I know your scared but you might have depression. Find your doctors number and tell him/her what you have been experiencing, and talk to him/ her about. Don't be afraid to ask questions. Ask him/her what to do, after all they are a professinonal and probably hear it alot. Then try talking to your parents. No time is the right time, but preferably mabye like after your h/w and they are both home. Ask if you can talk to them, sit them down somewhere comfy and just tell it how it is. I know you may think that they won't understand but, it's parental instcinct (Sp i know, i know) to help out and then you and your family can all go in for a one on (X number of family members) evaluation of what to do.

ok, well, I know that it's normal for everyone to go through the "emptiness", hoplessness, sadness etc. That's perfectly normal. EVERYONE goes through it. Not just thirteen year olds, or just girls, or just a certain race of people. Everyone. But, you notice, that some people don't act or look that way. There are two kinds of people like this.
1) morons who wear masks and then cry it out in secret later. All preppy and happy and bubbly in public, then total jerks and totally depressed in private.
2) Christians who rely on Christ to help them through times of trouble.

Ok, I am a Christian, and I do try and rely on Christ for everything. Believe me, it's not totally easy. In fact, it can be really hard at times! But in times of trouble, I know that I can fall on Jesus and he will help me. That's the beauty of Christ.

Because I have everlasting love and life from Christ, I don't have suicidal thoughts. (it could be partially my personality, but it's also Christ. I know that for a solid fact) Fall on Jesus, and he will help you.

As for chronic pain etc, that needs a doctor. I don't think that is normal. Headaches that wont go away, even with meds, that sounds like a migrane, and that can be dangerous. But I am no doctor.. and I am suggesting that you see one for that.

Completely normal.. trust me. I go through it every day. Just, don't worry about it. Move on and hang out with your friends because it's WAY easier to hang out than to hang in [there]. Just do things that make you happy. And don't forget.. if this is because a guy, he's stupid. Ok!? STUPID!

Everyone goes through a stage in their life sometime during their adolescence when they feel most of those symptoms. Don't worry, you aren't alone. Most people feel meanningless and empty and think about suicide. It's not just you. If you think it's really serious, then by all means talk to your parents about it, but it sounds like one of those phases we all go through, so I wouldn't worry too much.

im really sorry that i didn help as much as i hoped. feeling that way probaby sucks,and i dont know what else to tell you. try to figure out why youre felling this way. go tot eh doctor and maybe they'll give you some medicine to feel better. hope this time its better!

Well hun, thats a hard question. But i feel like that ALL THE TIME! I sometimes feel like i wanna kill myself too, and how ugly&fat i am. It hurts me soo much to feel this way too. But im trying to keep strong, keep my head up! You should do the same! But if you ever feel wicked sad that you wanna hurt yourself..YOU HAVE TO TELL UR PARENTS! I mean noone wants you to hurt. I tlk to my friends about this shit and they comfort me..but i cant tell my parents cause i feel like they will send me to a crazy home. BUt DOnt be afraid to tell you parents, cause they are here for you no matter what<3 IM ME SOMETIME .. HIXIMCHRISTINE .. STAY SAFE!!
