Who do u want calm? The grandpa or the dog? Lol jking. Well theres nothing really you can do to keep a dog calm. Just really dont make any loud obnoctiose noise to him. O yeah and if you need to train him you get a dog whistle so if he does anything bad you blow and he dosnt like it so hew wont do it again and they have this thing , it like a clicker that you click and the dogs love it so it like an award

Hi I love animals especially dogs so here is a list of ways to keep the puppy calm
1.Most dogs love getting their belly rubbed
2.You can take it on a nice long walk if it is nice out
3.You can also keep it in your back yard or garage for the time enless it is bad weather out but if so you can also keep it in an room with nothing it can break and u can stay in there with a babygate in the doorway while you play on a computer, nintendo,or something else fun you can do!!!

I have a puppy myself, so... If he's potty-trained, he wont be much of a problem. Just bring some toys over, and some thick string, like you use for shoelaces. Tie the string around the toys, and dangle it in the air. My dog loves this game, because he loves to pull the toy while I hold the string.
If you want to keep them quiet, give them a dog treat, or maybe some warm chicken. They usually quiet down after they eat. ]
Be careful. Rottweilers usually only listen to their master, and if this is a dog you don't know very well, he could think you are a stranger and try to defend his house against you (I'm sure you know what that means). You have to show him who's boss. Prove you are a good guy and worthy of controlling him. Don't look affraid, or he won't obbey you. Better yet, don't be affraid at all. Just speak in a loud firm voice and give clear commands, and say "No" when he doesn't listen.
If you allready know this dog pretty well (You should if it's your autn and uncle's), and he knows and likes you, the you have noting to worry about. Just play with him, pet him, do what he wants to do (Just like babysitting). ]
just let him sit in your lap and rub his ears ]
Play with him alot....like play fetch..play a few games that make him get tired...then give him a treat and usually the fall alseep fast...good luck

Keep a puppy Rot Calm? Are you kidding?
Seriously, puppies like to play. Find out his favorite toy, and be prepared to run a lot. Run and fetch are always good. Try to teach him a few tricks, if he isn't too young. Take him for a walk (OK, it may be a run!) And don't underestimate grandpa, unless he is pushing 90. Also, outside is probably best, as puppies like to piddle and cleaning up has never been my favorite chore and I'm guessing isn't yours either.
Wear the Rott out, then he'll be calm. Heck, he'll nap. Run and fetch, tire him out. Enjoy the puppy! Hope this helps. ]
Ok, he's a puppy. Puppys like toys. Try tennis balls or his favorite toy. Get your aunt to bring his fave toys or show you them. Tennis balls and hardwood work great together. It's quite funny, and the puppy will be entertained because it's harder for him to catch the tennis ball. Let the puppy outside alot, 'cause, being a puppy, he's probably not house trained. If you're allowed to play with him outside, let him chase you while you run, throw a ball for him to catch, or a rope to play tug-of-war with. Chew toys are good for puppys, 'cause they are still getting teeth in, and need to chew on something to help. Rawhide bones are good, but if you visit any pet supply shop, dollar tree store, wal-mart, and many other places, you can find cheap good doggie toys, and at a pet supply place, the clerks will have good ideas too. A really good place to go is your aunt and uncle. They will know what toy the puppy likes best, what games he likes to play, and advice for you on how to keep him happy.

Ask what his favorite toy is and play with him with it. Let him out A LOT because puppies piddle a lot. lol. When you let him out, throw a ball from him, or let him chase you. Tire him out and he'll be less of a hastle. Good luck

Well its hard to say because dogs are different (would be helpful if you mentioned the breed). But heres a couple of things that might be helpful 1- Dogs are usually very affected by the mood- if you get exited/active they get active 2- Puppies rarely know when they are tired, so after you play with him and run him around a bit, give him the chance to relax and nap 3- chew toys help for most dogs (obvious i know) 4- Even the most atention seeking dogs will give up if you ignore them rather than get agitated. Sry its not much but its all I can think of now ]
