Consists of Sharpened toothbrushes, spoons, forks, wood...etc...List goes on. Basically its to stab someone. If someones says their going to shank you...watch out. metalkat86 answered Friday January 7 2005, 6:45 pm: shanking is when someone in prison makes a shank(something sharp that can be used like a knife) and uses it on another person. for example, let's say bob and bill are prisoners. bob makes a shank and "shanks" bill. bill dies because he was shanked (or stabbed) with the thing he made. that's all hope i helped. later,

Karen answered Friday January 7 2005, 6:45 pm: "Shanking" means to stab someone with a shank (knife). I also heard it means "screwing" but I don't think that's the real definition. Hope I helped :)
