Everyone is different. Some girls bleed if their hymen has not yet been stretched open, others don't. A cherry usually refers to a girl's hymen — the thin skin that stretches across the opening of the vagina. There is usually an opening in it to let menstrual flow out of the body — and will let semen into the uterus. "Popping the cherry" refers to stretching the hymen during vaginal intercourse.
hope that helped!

redlion145 answered Thursday January 6 2005, 10:02 pm: If you are male, it shouldn't hurt. If you are female, and it is your first time then yes, it will hurt when the guys penis breaks your hymen. You will probably bleed a little bit. If the guy is gentle it doesn't have to be excruciating. If he's not... well, just hope he's gentle. [ redlion145's advice column | Ask redlion145 A Question ]
