all my friends want me to go out with this boy and he's like my best friend but now im sort of liken him more than a friend and i know he likes me too but like when he comes to school he dresses with like sweat pants and never brushes him hair and he would look so much cuter if he wore like jeans or something..how do i tell him to dress better without hurtin his feelings and not imbarassing me? please help!

curbsideprophet answered Thursday January 6 2005, 11:00 am: well i don't think there is any nice way to say that. but idk if the sweatpant thing is that bad. i go to a catholic high school so whenever we get "free dress" days (we dont have to wear uniforms) almost everyone comes in scrubbed out. it's comfortable, and that means he's comfortable with himself. secondly, this sounds corny, but you should like him for him. however, haha this is high school and that generally does nt happen. maybe joke around with him. playfully just say to him "oh cmon one day for me will you just wear jeans or something other than sweatpants!i think it's just about the only thing you own!" gently though lol. just turn it into something where he'll "do it for you" you know? .:.curbside prophet.:.
