i've been hanging out with the druggies and gangstas at my school. my best friend which is none of those got mad at me because shes going to think im going to do drugs or change my style. i was always hanging out with the gangstas though so shes mostly worried about the druggies. she makes fun of some of my friends and i act like i dont like them but i really do. i dont want her worring about me and who i hang out with but its sorta hard. i've always been the one getting in trouble or bending the rules but shes never really seen that side of me because i act like a totally diff. person around her. what should i tell her so she can stop telling me who to hang out with? and make her stop talking about my friends???

Well if she's your best friend you should be able to tell her how she shouldnt have to worry about you..but she's only tryin to be there for you like a real friend.. so dont take it too peronal.. but i would talk to her and tell her she dosnt have to worry about you so much cause you've always been this way....~*DEZ*~

ok i know where your coming from, i got alot of friends who do drugs and who are gangstas, but their my friends, and i'm not a gangsta and i dont do drugs. you gotta tell your friend not to worry about you, you can make your own decisions and hopefully you wont make a bad one becoming one of them and thinking that you will still have her as a friend, just tell her that their your friends if she makes fun of you, b/c that hurts you too if someone makes fun of them. x0

Ok......first of all....Have you ever had a gangsta boy???? mmmmmmmmmmmmm....thats all I gotta say bout that. Yo I hang out wit tha gangstas in my school....shit...I AM one of them. I can't help it, the boys be lookin good, the girls be hatin', and almost every other social group is threatened by you (like the preps).I think you should tell your friend who you really are and she could join you, respect you, or drop that girl like its hot. You don't need no one to tell u what to do.

I totally get that crowd. I understand what you mean, you know them and they're nice people, and she doesn't, she just thinks that they're drugies. Firstly, she's probably just worried and trying to be a good freind to you. And she obviously is! It's annoying because you think she's trying to control you, but really she just doesn't want anything bad to happen to you, that's what a true freind does. She really does care about you, not trying to control you. Maybe to help ease her, you could ask your freinds who are on drugs to stop. Because drugs really aren't healthy for them, and if you care about them as your freinds, at least try to get them to stop. I'm not trying to tell you what to do, just giving a suggestion. Don't hide your feelings when she makes fun of them, tell her calmly that they're your freinds too, and you don't like it when she makes fun of them. She'll stop if she's really your freind. She's probably only doing that to get you to stop hanging out with them so that you don't start drugs too, not trying to be mean. Are you really being YOU around any of your freinds? Cause if you can't be just you around them, or if you don't think that they would except you as just you, then they probably aren't your freinds and only like who you're pretending to be. Maybe you should look into new freinds in a different group? Or try to help the freinds you have now, and just be you around them. If they don't like you just the way you are, they aren't your freinds, and aren't worth spending another second around. Sorry, but thats the truth. I hope I helped you at leaset a little!

ok well see the thing is you have to reassure her that you wont change and that you will listen to her advice and stuff but then again you may want to listen to her and maybe hang out with her and tell her that there are just different sides of you the side that likes hanging out with her and the side that likes hanging out with them and if she cant handle that then maybe she should just leave you alone.
