Well, the KC metro area...
I go to the movies often enough,
Not much of a drinker or Dancer - don't really like smokey rooms so Clubbing and bars aren't usually my thing.
Anyone have any good suggestions as to how to kill time with friends or with a date here in the Kansas City / Overland Park area?

Coffee shops/houses are a good way to getogether with friends, I know in the St. Louis area they have many of them that have bands in and/or offer open mike nights. If that's too smokey for you, you might want to try a Barnes and Noble in your area, lots of them are big enough that they have a coffee shop inside and there's no smoking. They sometimes offer open mike for stories and poetry as well.
There also learning about the culture of your city: Museums, Art Galleries, etc. Or if that isn't your thing, catch a car show, or any other kind of conventions that catch your fancy.
Or instead of going to a movie you could try going out with friends to a nice sit down place and eat and chat the night away.

You guys could spend Friday nights at home playing games, watching TV, or listening to music? Or you could throw a party every once and a while with your rules. That way you could just have good clean fun! On a date you could go out to dinner at a local cafe or coffee shop. You could go to the park and just hang out, or walk down to the local 7Eleven, if they have those in Kansas. Or Slurpee/Slushie shop. Ice-Cream is always good too. You could go to the batting cages if you're into sports. Scrap Booking? I hope you can find something to do! Hope I could be of some help! Good Luck!!
