okay, my dentist said i might need to get a "screw-in" tooth, im only 14, and I have no idea what he was talking about, has anyone ever got one, or known anyone who got one? Did it hurt? What happened. THANKS

DON'T WORRY!! It just means you need to get a fake tooth and the dentists always tell you what they are going to do before they start and it doesn't hurt at all!!

I havent got one but i will have to soon im not sure i think they put you to sleep and screw it in and it might be a bit painful at first but it should be ok roxie

I've had a screw-in before. Before they do ANYTHING to you, the dentist are SURE to tell you what they are going to do to you. I PROMISE! NO I WILL NOT HURT! trust me it didn't hurt me so it'll probally not hurt you. Avtually it'll help you

I've never had one, but I think someone asked this question a while back ago. I think it was a screw-in tooth, but I'm not sure. If that was what they asked, I remember people saying it hurt, and to take painkillers before and after, but I'm not sure. Sorry I couldn't help much! Good luck, hope it don't hurt too bad!
