ok well I don't know why (then again I do), but I feel numb.....Like my feelings... I like this guy, but he likes my best friend, yet, he wrote "I love you" on my planner.... SO I was confused about it.... I need to figure out y my feelings feel numb (that sounds odd) so if u could help I would appreciate it thanks

You feel like that because you might think that your not ready to like this person. Or you might feel like that because you like this person but are not sure. And the "I love you" Might just be a joke. you should ask him. And if you do like him then ask him out that might make the feeling go away!

Sometimes when guys write "i love you" in girls planners they usually mean it as friends. My good friends collin and alex write in my planner that i'm their hero and write "i love you" all over the place but they both have girlfriends. Either he could just mean it as a friend, he doesn't mean it at all and just wants to feel good that he has girls swarming over him, or that he acctually does like you. Since he has a girlfriend and it's always proper to see the good in people before the bad, i don't think he'd cheat on his girlfriend. He probably was teasing you in a friendly way. Sometimes you can't tell if a guy likes you as a friend or a girlfriend and that's because a friend and a girlfriend are basically the same thing except one you have more intimate feelings towards another. the conversations are still the same, just the feelings arn't. you are probably just feeling really confused about all of this. you may truly like him and you may not. like the song says "if you wanna know if he loves you so it's in him kiss." i'm not saying kiss him, i'm just saying you can't tell what a person is feeling inside just by how they act. your "numbness" of feelings may just be shock that you think he may be cheating on your friend. well he probably isn't and just way playing around with you like a friend. although i could be entirely wrong but that's what i think. Well i wouldnt say your feelings are wierd.. I would say that you have mixed feelings. I would try and find out more about him liking your best friend and see if your best friend likes him back and if she doesnt then tell him then that leaves him open lol for you!! Not 2 scare you, but I've got 2 friends who've been depressed, and sometimes it can be a symptom of mild or beginning depression...just make sure you sitll enojoy doing your fave stuff.

that makes sense. feelings can be numb. you could just be a little....eh about it right now, so your just kinda numb. especially if he likes your friend. that'll always hurt. and if you've been through enough pain over one person, i think eventually it just goes kinda...numb. hope that makes sense and that i helped!

When someone says or writes "I love you" to you, it doesn't mean that they actually like you. I always say that to my guy friends and I don't like them. Why don't you talk to this guy and see what's up. I don't think he meant it the way you did but hey, he might of. Hope I helped :)
