you're strong enough to admit it's wrong, so you're strong enough to over come this. tell a school counselor. or a parent. please.

it's good that you can acknowledge that this is a becoming a problem. you're above like half of the people that do cut right now lol.. but for starters you've got to face your issues. guys are idiots and they will screw you over (omg trust me.) school and parents are realllllly stressful and you have to find ways around it to use to cope with. just remember that life goes on and every problem you have will just go away i promise. now.. try expressing your anger/hurt/feelings in general in another way.. like writing or listening to music (that's what i do) or confide in a reallly good friend you knwo you can trust about this.. friends may not seem like it.. but sometimes they can really help you out in a problem. if those options don't work try confronting your problem itself.. like talk to your parents about wat's bothering you about them and see if you can fix anything to make your school life less hectic.. i know that sometimes you can't really talk to your parents (my parents are like that) so you can try crisis hotlines or other methods. lastly if those still don't work you can always IM me and just talk to me (it might be easier since i'm just a stranger so i can't really judge you or know you that well..) but you can also try a counselor.. although the probelm with that is that if they believe you are posing a threat to yourself then they'll have to inform your guardians that may make things worse. just remember that you're not alone and you really are a good person no doubt about that. life always has huge bumps in the road. you just have to find ways of getting around them...

Ok. First of all, doesnt' you school have a rule about having weapons in school? if so, why do you have a knife or anything sharp enough to cut youself deeply at school?
Second. In light of the "no weapons" rule, if you can make it through the school day, it would be a start to stopping. If you know you can't stop on your own, it's time to bring someone else into the picture. if you have a friend, or friends you KNOW for you can trust 100% tell them, and/or go to a counsler at school, or a teacher you can trust. Explain what's going on, why you've been doing what you're doing. Tell them that you dont' want your parents involved, if that's what you want. The poing is, get someone who can help you involved, cue them in on what's going on. If you can admit something..."Admitting is the first step to recovery." You already see it's a problem, and you want to stop. Go you sweetie. You've gotten to the point of addiction, I'm sorry to say.
One more little thing: parents I can def. see being a problem, school the same ( you may want to see if you can talk to any of your teachers about that...) but the boys, don't worry about them.
Good luck.

Well, first you wanna ask yourself.. Do you REALLY want to end up in a mental hospital? cause when I did that, thats where I ended up.. and trust me its really not that much fun.. I know things can be sh*t but honestly - that's not the way to deal with it. You need to get EVERYTHING sharp away from you (btw - taking a knife to school isnt smart - you'll get caught eventually, trust me), find someone you can talk to, and (this is the most important one) ask your parents if you can see the doctor - if you've been cutting for a year, you need anti-depressants (and probably a psychiatrist). Even if you think your parents hate you or you've been fighting, they do care and they don't want you to be miserable. Oh, and one last thing - I have scars from 2 years ago that are still really noticeable and people always comment, so i mean theres another reason to try harder to stop. I hope this helps and I hope you'll take my advice - let me know what happens.

Hey, Ik how you feel. But the best thing you can do is talk to someone about it. There might be reason's why your cutting, maybye you could be depressed. Idk, but deffinataly talk to a theripist or a counlser at your school. And try to get your mind of cutting. Do other things that you like doing to take your mind off of it. I know it's hard but you'll get through it! Good luck. Jenna
