I have been with my boyfriend for around 4 months and I really do love him alot. The problem is, one of my best friends is in all of his classes and I am in none of them. My friend happens to be his last ex girlfriend and now they are very good friends. I don't have a problem with that but they are always talking and laughing together and last night my friend said that she and him were very close. My boyfriend and I don't talk very much because we never know what to say to each other. He says it is because he hasn't got a very interesting life but whenever I see him, he his always with my friend. It's not that I don't trust my boyfriend because I do and I don't think there is anything going on between him and my friend, it just hurts me that he can't talk to me but he can talk to his ex. What shall I do? How can I talk to my boyfriend more?

the reason he might not be able to talk to you the way he can talk to her is because he might not feel as comfortable or like he can say anything to you. i know how that is. all you can really do is try and talk to him. jus throw stuff out there for you to talk about and if he doesnt respond then its not your fault and maybe you should reconsider your relationship wit him.

make more of an effort.. talk to him before school starts... during lunch, call him after school.. write him notes.. and ask him if he's interested in ur friend n stuff. n ask her if she likes him... if they start flirting. then u def. gotta do sumthin bout it. *hope helped!* love alwaiiz, aLi *feedback is appreciated!*

ask him about it.tell him you see him talking and laughing except it's not with u. bring up a topic that he might find cool.in other words communicate.oh and by the way don't lose the temper on his ex.,just simply ask her to give you and him some space so u can have time with him too.

First off, it's not love, love is when this person tells you every un-interesting thing in their life, yeah, sorry to hurt you, but your friend's definately messing up your relationship...Give them a month, he'll break up with you, he sounds like an arse anways. <3

He can talk to his ex because they have a history. You can become closer with your boyfriend by shared experiances. Get together after school or on the weekends and do somehting like mini golf, or visit a zoo or museum.
Just to warn you: if you have been dating this boy for 4 months and still can find nothing to talk about, then maybe you are not as compatible as you think. Even though he is a great guy, you guys are just not clicking.
