5 for good advice

Question Posted Friday December 10 2004, 11:38 pm

wht do you do when you go to a school dance and your frined gets asked out but you dont. I just have a question because on the same night of the dance i see my ex-boyfriend slow dancing with this really mean girl lets call her marissa and he deserves so much better.I still have huge feeling for my ex and i just felt so depressed after that. i will rate a 5 for anyone who gives me good advice.,

Well, you have fun anyway, dance with your other friends and don't think about guys! I'm sorry about your ex - but there doesn't seem to be much you can do. If you two are still good friends, you could tell him how mean you think she is, but I don't think that would do much good.. Just wait until the next dance to get asked out! ;-) It'll work out eventually.

well tell him what you just told me and that you arent trying to break them up or ruin he relationships its just that you care about him and you think he deserves better than what he is getting. also try to get to know the other side like talk to "marissa" i mean how do you know that she is all that bad i mean ppl sometimes get off an a bad start and the they will have a bad reputatin so just work both sides of the field b4 you make assumptions

well for the first question.. i'd say there's nothing wrong with your friend getting asked out and you don't... and as for your ex well.. since you broke up with him let him experience a bad gf... maybe then he'll want to get back with you

"melissa" maybe mean to you and other people-but are you shure she is mean to him?-are you shure tha maybe she is good for him and you just dont want him with another grl-belive me its easy to think things like that-i do that even with my guy friends-i nvr think any grl is good enoughfor them-so maybe you should take a step back and see if he is truly happy--

um, first: you be happy for that friend.

if you're depressed about your ex, try talking to him about it, if he refuses to listen or claims he still likes marissa, you have to let him go. you don't want to seem obssesive or anything like that.

if it still hurts to think about him, only time and possibly chocolate can really help. every heartache takes time to heal.
