Long story...but I really need help!
Well, my friend Jacob and I are close friends right, and he totally tells me all the time that he likes this girl and she likes his friend (cough cough...me) and he says that he still hangs out with her and stuff. but anyways its waay obvious he likes me (im the girl he's talking about).
And so today we were just passin notes in class (just like FRIENDS do) and this girl Brittany goes "are you guys passing notes?" and i said "yeah" and she goes "aww how cute....you guys should go out" and Jacob goes "why? just cuz we're passing notes?" and she says "no u guys would be so cute together n stuff" and me and Jacob look at each other like what?! and so yeah that was weird.now every1 thinks me n Jacob like each other and i swear i dont like him. I like him a lot as a friend. but JUST as a friend.
so, what do i do? Jacob's thinking of introducing me to his friend I like soon. what if Jacob asks me out? I don't want Jacob to get jealous because i like his best friend who i have NEVER met! well wait...maybe he's already jealous :-(.... i want to say no...but i dont want to hurt his feelings and loose his friendship!

if jacob does ask u out then just be like were really good friends and i know if we go out and break up then we wont be as close as b4, and i dont want that to happen.. i think its just better if we stayed this way. he'll prolly be like yeah ur right. just tell him that u like him but not that way and u would nvr wanna ruin ur friendship with him so going out isnt gunna work out

Ok, sweetie, if he was jealous of you liking his best friend, he wouldn't be introducing yall. He would do everything he could so yall didn't meet or date or anything like that. If Jacob does like you, then maybe he's just waiting on you or trying to move on because he knows you like his best friend and with that comment that girl made, don't worry it will pass. Oh and I don't think Jacob is gonna ask you out, I mean like now, because he knows you don't like him and it's hard enough (or so guys tell me) to ask girls out, so if they know you don't like them, then what's the point, you know?
