Christmas Presents?

Question Posted Sunday November 21 2004, 5:36 am

I'm a 14 yr old female and I'm having trouble on what gifts to get for guys. Girls are so easy (most of the time) to get presents for. But guys...ugh...that's a different story. lol. What kind of present would a guy want? It seems like most of my friends are guys this year, which doesn't make getting presents any easier.

And...there is this one guy that asked me out a while ago. I didn't deny him, but I told him I thought we should hang out more and see how it goes. We've been hanging out a lot now and I'm pretty sure I like him as much as he likes me now. Everyone already thinks we're going out. What kind of gift do you think I should get him?

Music movie passes video games..or even a blockbuster movie gift certificate..or sport goods stuff. Just see what they like and usually you can get them someone cool for less cash.

One of the things above is stiff kind of casual yet he will like..aks your freinds wht they are getting their guys..

Yeah, that is a hard one! lol. Umm.. You can try asking the guys you know what they are interested in. Maybe they like cars and motorcycles? Then you can get them something to do with that stuff.. like models of cars and motorcycles. Or maybe they like clothes? Then you can get them some clothes. You can get them CD's too. Make sure to find out what kind of music they like and get them a CD for Christmas! Most boys like CD's.. Well I hope I helped. Please rate me! :)

However much you are planning on spending on him, put that money into gift card form. Ask him some of his favorite stores. I'm buying everyone except really close friends candy. I'm buying those really small bagss, and buying like 10 bags of candy, and putting a bunch of candy in each bag. Unless a friend has said stuff they want. Last year I bought everyone stuff from bath and body works (They sold cologne there too, x-mas special) But this year, I only have about $100 to spend, and last year I had $300. So since I'm down on cash I'm getting my really close friends things they've asked for. But I mean, I've had friends ask for livestrong bracelets, and I'm like, don't buy them, I'll get some for you for x-mas. Or you can do build-a-bear (do you have one near you?) Buy him a shirt he'll like, or a jersey for his favorite team/player. Good luck, hope I'm of some help. I think a gift card to a favorite store would be pretty easy, but that's just my opinion.

I'm friends with a lot more guys than girls, and what I find is that they enjoy when you get them things that have to do with inside jokes you have with them. This may be a bit more difficult than just getting them all the same thing and throwing it in a bag that says "Merry Christmas" on the front, but they'll know that it comes from the heart and as mushy as that sounds, a lot of guys like that!

As for your "sort-of-boyfriend", think about what's important to him, what kinds of hobbies he has. For instance, last year I got my boyfriend a "guitar emergency kit" filled with picks and a tuner and a slide. Think of the things he's interested in and then get him little accessories to help out with whatever it is. Big gifts are nice, but it seems more personal when you get them a lot of little things.

Get your guy a nice jersey ask him what his favorite team is, or you can get him something as simple as Chocolate, guys never get tired of chocolate. I gave my guy friends colone. That's a good one. Ya know something that will show that you care for him. Hope I helped! :)
