tumbling well tomorrow we start tumbling in P.E. and i am soooo afraid of doing a front roll.. i am horrified at the thought of all my body weight being over my head? how do i try to overcome this fear

Practice it a few times. Get used to tumbleing. Bc once you do it, its not that bad. Try to practice on a mat or pillows so you dont hurt your head. You may not get it the first try but once you get used to it, you will love doing it.

Watch people do the tumbling. Have them explain how they do it. By detail and slowly. Your fear will be less. Ask them to help you. Tell them your afraid of those who can do it. They will be nice and help you. I was scared to do that too and my friends in p.e explained it to me and was really nice. Now i do it all the time. To relax. and be silly. just try it.. its not hard and it really doesnt hurt at all if you do it right--rachael ]
Take all the steps of tumbling and run them through your head. Even do a little research if you have to. This will make you more comfortable on how it works and knowing this may make you more aware and unafraid. Good luck tomorrow!

Awww dont worry. i did tumbling in pe too..and I cant tumble for crap. But you can have people spot you and help you out before trying it on your own. Just try!! dont just be like 'no i cant do it' you have to try ]
