loomis1234 answered Thursday November 11 2004, 8:48 pm: there are differnt excersizes for different things, i used to be a little over weight, and i joined a gym, and the woman who worked there explained this. in order to lose weight u have to keep your heart rate up the whole time, so had be do a very quick walk, or a slow jog on the treadmill for 10 minutes, then do the machines in the gym, use 4 of them, quickly, with low wieght and high repitition, then get back on the treadmill for 7 minutes, then use 4 more machines.....untill youve used them all, it is important not to rest in between, but to keep ur heart rate up, (its up when u are a little out of breath and ur heart is beating fast) but to drink pleanty of water, i dropped 15 lbs in a month, adn kept it off, ask me if u have any questions...good luck [ loomis1234's advice column | Ask loomis1234 A Question ]
