I need a room makeover..right now my room is aqua blue, and I have a bedspread from target which has Purple, Aqua Blue, Lime green, and yellow all combined..I want a new idea..Im thinking about red, or orange..i'd prefer 2 colors...any good ideas? and tips on decorating? thanks!

Even though you said you might want red or orange..you could probably work with what you have. It really depends on what you like. I think you should do sort of a <b>beach</b> theme. It would probably look cool if you do it right. If the color of your wall looks like an ocean blue, you could keep it. Then like a couple feet up from the bottom, you could paint tan-ish colors on there, and it would look like sand. Then for your comforter, you could just get a plain blue, or anything that goes with the beach. For your extra decoration-type things, you could just get some hanging stuff. Or you could make some things if you're artistic..well I don't know. If you don't like that idea, just make a list or think about some things that you like..whether it is a hobby or a sport, or a specific item. It all depends on <i>you</i>. Try using some bright colors together, like: green/pink (watermelon) pink/orange! =) They'll look cute together! Also, maybe lavender and light blue is pretty! =)

yeah that soundz cute... red and orange... i saw a red and orange comforter at IKea... so if u go wit red and orange... it'll go great in ur room... abother thing u can try is red and black... or blue and black... you should repaint ur room... you can find all kinds of cute stuff at Ikea...

It all depends on what you're into. I was always a nature loving girl, so I painted my walls two shades of natural green when I was a preteen. As I got older, I changed the walls to a slate grey with stenciled fake bricks and I got black satin curtains covered in moons so I could look all SPOOKY. Two much red or orange might make it look like a restaurant, lol, but how about if the entire room is just black and white with a few red highlights. Like, if the bed spread is black and white diamonds but you just have this blood-red canopy over it. Or all the furniture is very stark black and white and you have a vase of red roses. That would look elegant. You might grab some magazines and look through there for ideas.
