getting out of the house
just about every friday i go to a dance and i always have to wear something i dont like out of the house because my mom wont let me wear: camis, leather pants, short skirts, tank tops, wife beaters, eye liner, mascara, eye shadow, hoop earings, u get the picture. well i always change when i get there. its a real pain. does anyone know how i can convince my mom to let me look like im 13 not 6. thanx for ur help.

ok youre 13, not 18. you dont have the maturity to look hot yet, unless you get things done for you like JoJo. your mom is so right, leather pants look so trashy, most of the time 13yr olds dont kno how to do eye shadow right, and wife beaters look like ure part of the homeless crowd, so if you wanna try to look hot id advise something conservative yet mysterious so that your mom will be cool with it and so will ur friends

You're a responsable girl, tell her yu'd like to wear something a little more "your age" say you won't go to overboard on the makeup. And not to skimpy on the clothes. Say you're tired of dressing like a 6 year old and you want to change.

You should tell her that you are responsible and you should ask her why she wont let you wear that stuff. i think you should compromise with her like if you could wear some of the stuff you want to wear. My friends mom is the same way and I told my friend to tell her mom that if she wears those kindof things nothing is going to happen. ~Calie~
